A few weeks ago, my inbox received an email from one of the many newsletters I subscribe to and included one of my favorite words: Dresses! And we all know what that means – occasions to attend, fun colors to wear, and donning more fluid clothing as we gradually head into warmer months. 2025 is a year where we are feeling a little beige fatigue and embracing colors. This is a beautifully curated store with a warm and welcoming staff. Sarah approached us with her lovely smile and asked us if we needed help. She pointed me right to the sales rack first, which I appreciated. She also was helpful when I sought her guidance, but also gave me space to try on each piece and ponder them on my own!
Mercantile is THE premium women's contemporary clothing store in Portland. The clothing is fabulous and the service exemplary. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else. LOVE.
I love this store, the staff and owners. I have been shopping here for over 20 years and have never had an issue with a return or exchange. The clothing and accessory selection is to die for and the shopping experience is amazing. I am a huge fan and highly recommend!
